Our methodology
Our work methods are tried and tested and have been used successfully by Stoode in communication projects for many years. We divide a standard project into five main phases: start phase, concept development, production, implementation and project end.

Project start
Careful planning of hours, resources, project requirements and deliverables is necessary to achieve optimal results for the project as a whole. Planning is carried out in collaboration with you the customer, during which a time plan, project organization, communication routines and control document are established. Our delivery at this stage of the project is a project definition.
Concept development
At this stage, we identify the type of information the website should accommodate. This leads to an overall web structure and the identification of the types of pages to be included in the website. We also work with documentation that sets the framework for the creative design.
We develop the solution’s graphic design according to a methodology that is based on identifying the basic design elements. These building blocks are formed into unique pieces of the puzzle that fit together and build the pages of the web service.
The end result of all this work is a concept description: idea, graphic design, structure, navigation and text – everything is put together into a functional whole and is presented in such a way that provides a clear picture of the finished result. We should also be able to test that the structure, information design and graphic design reach the target group in a satisfactory manner. Deliveries at the concept development phase are: An information structure/prototype and a graphic style guide.
Production/realization
In the production phase all graphic design is fully carried out according to the style guide established in the concept development stage.
At this time all client programming is carried out. We develop a CSS-based graphic framework that steers how the interface is presented, separate from content and structure. The website is optimized for search engines. Our work is carried out according to W3C-standards and WAI’s guidelines.
At this stage we also work with system development. The framework is connected to the relevant publication tool(s).
Our delivery at this stage is a test specification, documents that we will both use for quality assurance of our work.
Implementation
In the implementation phase the website is installed on the customer’s operative server. Function testing is carried out to ensure quality before operational start.
The project is launched once quality assurance of the project has been completed in operating mode and signed-off. In most cases the launch is complemented with internal and external marketing. In web projects a supplementary training course for project editors is held.
At this phase we deliver technical documentation.
If the project is being carried out in several iterations, at this point we now return to the concept phase or to the phase determined by the content of the iteration, otherwise the project proceeds to the project end phase.
Project end
At the end of each project we carry out an evaluation together with you. Ideas that have emerged during the project are discussed and saved for future projects.
We compile everything in a final report.
